True, though when I started exploring Solid ~2 years ago the gap was a little wider.

Vue performance has improved a lot since then (https://blog.vuejs.org/posts/vue-3.2.html) and so has the TypeScript support (both for Vue and its ecosystem).

With that said, Solid still has better performance and was optimized for JSX and TypeScript from the start. Vue and its ecosystem pushes SFCs more which I'm not a big fan of (written a little on this here: https://vrite.io/blog/separation-of-concerns-slows-you-down/ and here: https://areknawo.com/vue-with-tsx-the-perfect-duo/)

What I was looking for was "React-like syntax and API with Vue 3-like reactivity system" and Solid matches that perfectly.
