Just made the switch from Windows/Linux to the Mac. Got maxed-out M1 MacBook Pro, and honestly - it's a game changer! The design, the hinge, the trackpad, and macOS itself are just great.

Maybe you don't get as much customizability as in Linux, but with such design and polish - it's just one less distraction to think about. And with Unix and the general stability of the system - it's miles ahead of anything Windows offers (tried WSL, buggy, slow and uncomfortable to work with).

With that said 13" is a bit small for day-to-day work, so I hooked it up to an external display. Fingers crossed for the up-coming M1X 16" - will be an immediate buy for me!
