I'm coming from the future, after Apple has released the new MBPs and I've used maxed-out 16" for a month now.

- MagSafe is awesome! It's better than ever and enables fast charging. The cable is braided and it's detachable from the brick.

- MiniLED blooming is pretty much not an issue. With XDR and Promotion, it's arguably the best display in a laptop right now, and many agree that the blooming issue is far less noticeable than on the iPad Pro, if not completely solved.

Nothing against the article - it's nice and well-written - but I'm happy the theories from it turned out to be completely false.
